  as a youngster with the original green nwt i could never reconcile how the wts could print in a nt verse "they thought they had seen a ghost!

  " when they were adamant such did not exist.. does anyone remember that verse (in acts, i think) i only have later editions where that and others are excised, and now s.o.

  is trying to "smokescreen" me with the usual denial card.

  my mom always would call me and my brother and sister and say, "im just calling to say im happy u were born..." why didnt she want me to be happy on my birthday but she could? ha! its funny how even the expression "happy birthday" has been demonized, when there really is nothing wrong with saying it. and they know it too

  What did you teach Bible study, that you knew would change after Baptism?

  did you teach your bible study "half-truths", knowing that once the bible student was baptized, they would be taught a different "truth" once they were indoctrinated into the w.t.?.

  such as...shunning practices?.

  blood issue?.

  not me personally, but i wish, for all the ones baptized that are between the ages of 8-17, that they could see into the future and realize that, even if baptism isn't a choice they would regret, they are too young to make such a committing decision... parents should appreciate that as well instead of pressuring them to do so. i think anyone baptized under the age of 18 should be able to have it annulled if they wish. im sure the GB does not agree with that...

  last tuesday my jw nephew 26 yrs old, got df'd.

  seems his jw father (my brother) and mother came home and caught him having sex, with a guy!!

  seems they walked in when the guys were right in the middle of it.
